ENORMOUS 200lbs TARPON!! // Tarpon fishing Destin, FL OH MAN!! WHAT A DAY OF TARPON fishing IN Destin Florida!! Tarpon fishing in Destin, FL is clearly top notch. But when you're fishing for these Tarpon, everything changes! The hunt to find the schools of tarpon in Destin Florida along the beaches of not only Destin, FL, but also spans out to Panama City, FL & to Navarre, FL, was awesome! Another good thing though, is that the fishing is always alive throughout these areas. These Tarpon are an absolute one of a kind fish. Not only to catch but literally just to witness in the water and when you get them to the boat its INSANE.Tarpon fishing in destin Florida is truly beautiful, the reaches second to none and THE FISH.. THE SILVER KING..they're basically dinosaurs! Prehistoric beauties! This was the first time these folks got to witness the whole experience of fishing for Tarpon. Even the camera guy lol. But the whole process was LONG...passing the 3 hour mark of fighting this fish. And in the end, she showed us the respect for the fight and we made sure we showed her the same. When you fight a trophy fish like this, there is no space for disrespect. These fish deserve top notch care when the fight is over. Helping them recover from the overall fight is HUGE for their survival when they swim off. Anyways, Tarpon fishing out here in Destin, FL is by far my favorite activity and this is the one fish I'd chase for the rest of my life lol. I love these fish and am so grateful I got to be a part of the first time anglers witnessing the power and beauty of the amazing Tarpon!! Until next time, Stay solid to yourself.
